President Vujanović Congratulates Montenegrin Journalists’ Day |
President of Montenegro, Filip Vujanović congratulated to the journalists the day which marks 139 years of providing information to Montenegro - January 23rd. On the occasion of this significant jubilee, the President stated that all the representatives of public voice can be proud of the history of Montenegrin journalism which commenced in 1871, thus establishing the basis for the present contemporary journalism.
President emphasized that Montenegro and its citizens who are devoted to democracy and the rule of law are in demand of professional and educated journalists who are governed by ethical principles in their work, respecting any man’s right to true, unbiased and timely information, and wished journalists to contribute to the democracy and development of Montenegro depicting its values objectively.
