Cetinje: Ambassador of Cuba Presents Letters of Credence to President Vujanović |
President of Montenegro, Filip Vujanović received today at his Residence in Cetinje the letters of credence from the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cuba, Mercedes Martinez Valdes, who will perform her duty in Montenegro on a non-residential basis.
President Vujanovic stated that in addition to good relations with Cuba our economic relations are at a low level, so diplomatic activities should be committed to establishment of economic cooperation.
Ambassador Mercedes Martinez Valdes pointed out that she will try to be as often as possible in Montenegro and to engage directly in establishment of economic cooperation. She said that she will visit Bar and the Port in the coming days in order to assist in organization of the visit of delegation of local administration and businessmen of Bar to Cuba believing that it will be a valuable activity regarding our economic cooperation.
