Podgorica, President of Montenegro Meets with the State Secretary in the Ministry of Defense of Germany
President of Montenegro Filip Vujanovic received today in Podgorica the State Secretary in the Ministry of Defense of the Federal Republic of Germany Thomas Kossendey.

President thanked the Ministry of Defense and Germany for the support it provides to Montenegro on its integration way and for expert assistance in Military reforms as well as in achieving high security standards. President assessed that provided education in Germany for a certain number of Montenegrin officers and willingness for the partnership in the field of training is particularly valuable.

State Secretary in the Ministry of Defense of Germany highly praised the achievements of Montenegro in the process of NATO integration, and the membership of Montenegro in MAP (which is antechamber of NATO) is the best evidence of that. Secretary Kossendey promoted individual treatment of accession, expressing the willingness to further provide support and assistance to Montenegro and also his belief in rapid achievement of integration standards.
