Kiev, President of Montenegro with the President of Ukraine
At the invitation of the President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych, President of Montenegro Filip Vujanović attended the working dinner hosted by the President Yanukovych for the Presidents who were present at his inauguration.

In media statement President Vujanović said that he thoroughly informed President Yanukovych about the need of Montenegro to accelerate negotiating process with Ukraine and on the Agreement which is a prerequisite for accession of Montenegro to the World Trade Organization. President informed Yanukovych that those negotiations, which were very detailed, lasted for 14 months and Montenegro did all it could. During the meeting President emphasized that support of the President Yanukovych concerning the acceleration of those negotiations would be important, valuable and significant for Montenegro so that our country could be accepted in the World Trade Organization as soon as possible.
“President Yanukovych understood that, gave support and promised to encourage the acceleration of those negotiations to the maximum extent”, pointed out the President and expressed his belief that in the upcoming visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine to Montenegro we will receive an information about it and the encouragement of speedy termination of the negotiations.
At the end, President expressed his satisfaction over his visit to Kiev and his presence at the inauguration at the direct invitation of the President Yanukovych, because this was, as he stated, a new confirmation of good relations between Montenegro and Ukraine and an opportunity to encourage further development of those relations.
