Podgorica, President Vujanović Receives the Newly Appointed Ambassador Vesko Garčević
President of Montenegro Filip Vujanović received today Vesko Garčević, the newly appointed Ambassador of Montenegro – Head of Permanent Mission of Montenegro to NATO, to the Kingdom of Belgium and non-resident Ambassador to the Kingdom of the Netherlands and to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.

President Vujanović stated that NATO integration is of a special value and significance and he emphasized that Montenegro is a reliable partner to this organization. He expressed respect for the diplomatic mission and its previous head, Vesko Šuković, who, as the first Ambassador of Montenegro to NATO, displayed its relation and commitment to this organization. President pointed out that the newly appointed Ambassador Garčević should stay committed to the promotion of overall relations between Montenegro and Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg.

Ambassador Garčević said to the President that he will continue working on further development of relations between Montenegro and NATO alliance with all the efforts and his engagement concerning the fact that Montenegro should become a full NATO member as soon as possible. He added that his work will be dedicated to the promotion of economic and overall cooperation with the Kingdom of Belgium, the Netherlands and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
