In respect of the church property the President pointed to the Constitution of Montenegro, which was founded on the principle of recognition and protection of right to ownership as basic legal and economic value of modern states and rights. He emphasized the need and expectation that the principle would be respected as well as the fact that ownership relations may not be changed contrary to this constitutional principle.
