Cetinje, President of Montenegro received letters of credence from the Ambassador of the Republic of India
The President of Montenegro Filip Vujanović received the letters of credence from the Ambassador of the Republic of India, Ramachandran Swaminathan, who will perform his duty in Montenegro on a non-residential basis.

During the meeting the President Vujanović stated his satisfaction over the friendly relations of Montenegro and India. He emphasized the need to further promote the overall cooperation, especially in the field of economy. The President pointed to the necessity of completion of the contractual basis for the purpose of the economic cooperation promotion.

The Ambassador Swaminathan agreed that is was necessary to promote the economic and overall cooperation, pointing to the interest of Indian capital for investments in Montenegro and steps to be taken by both sides in that respect.
