Amman, President of Montenegro with Prime Minister of Jordan
The President of Montenegro Filip Vujanović, within his official visit to Jordan, met with the Jordanian Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour in Amman.

President Vujanović stated that he noted at the meeting with the King Abdullah II it is necessary to look into, as soon as possible, which international agreements between former Yugoslavia and Jordan could be extended, and which agreements are required to be immediately concluded in order to ensure quality contractual basis for economic cooperation.

In this regard, he proposed to make more intensive cooperation between the two governments and competent ministries, as well as to suggest extending or concluding the new interstate agreements as soon as possible. He also suggested sending the expert teams from both states to assess the possibility and dynamics of specific projects, especially in agriculture, industry and tourism.

The possibilities of economic cooperation were presented in detail by the Minister of Economy, Vladimir Kavarić who expressed readiness to immediately organize the visit of the Minister of Economy of Jordan to Montenegro and ensure the conclusion of appropriate agreements and information on potential joint projects which will be basis for connecting the companies and entrepreneurs.

The Jordanian Prime Minister stated that he already obtained the information from King Abdullah II on the necessity of vigorous action by the government of Jordan and establishing close contacts with the government of Montenegro and therefore he already informed the competent ministries on the need of intensive contact with the ministries in the government of Montenegro.

The meeting was attended by the Minister of Economy of Jordan who expressed willingness to visit Montenegro at his earliest convenience with regard to the proposal of Minister Kavarić to consider possibilities of further cooperation.
