The President of Montenegro Filip Vujanović discussed the report of the Department for Internal control of the Ministry of Interior dated December 9, 2013 on the occasion of lecture delivered by his advisor Veselin Veljović on November 9, 2013 in the SAJ (Special Anti-Terrorist Unit) Camp “Zlatica” in Podgorica, for the purpose of promotion of NATO integration values.
After that he informed the Prime Minister of Montenegro Milo Đukanović that it was concluded in the report that relevant procedures were not followed in the procedure of appointing and delivering this lecture and that he removed the Advisor Veljović from the position of his representative in the Council for Membership in NATO.
At the same time the President of Montenegro appointed his Advisor for Foreign Affairs and International Relations Dr. Dragiša Burzan as his representative in the Council for Membership in NATO, which is presided over by the Prime Minister.
